Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pot Kantai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Regalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pot Kantai looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kantai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Regalo moves away.
Kantai thows a body shot but no joy.
Regalo fails with the takedown.
Kantai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kantai throws a hook but Regalo blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Regalo has a takedown stuffed.
Regalo tries for a takedown but Kantai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pot Kantai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernando Regalo.

Kantai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Regalo manages to avoid it.
Regalo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kantai as he avoids it easily.
Kantai looks for the body kick but Regalo saw that one coming.
Kantai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Regalo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kantai circles away.
Kantai loads up on a big right hand but Regalo slips the punch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kantai scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Kantai throws a body kick that misses.
Kantai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Regalo was well out of range. Poor timing from Kantai.
Regalo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Regalo shoots in and drives through. Kantai sprawls well.
Regalo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kantai swivels and escapes.
Regalo looks gassed!
Regalo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kantai's waist but Kantai gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Regalo off to one side.
Kantai misses with a hook. Regalo ducked under it nicely.

Regalo slips a jab from Kantai.
Regalo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Regalo has a takedown stuffed.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Regalo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kantai as he jumps to the side.
Regalo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kantai.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Regalo shoots in for a takedown but Kantai shows good takedown defense.
Regalo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kantai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Horrible takedown by Regalo or perhaps it was just good defense by Kantai which made him look bad.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Regalo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kantai - the referee stops the clock and Regalo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kantai. Regalo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pot Kantai dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kantai misses with a two punch combination.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Regalo has eaten all the pies!

Regalo looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Regalo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Regalo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Regalo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Regalo with a flurry of punches that miss.
Regalo throwing strikes but missing.
Regalo prevents Kantai from getting back to his feet.

Regalo drops back looking for a leg! Kantai is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kantai manages to kick Regalo off! Regalo jumps back into Kantai's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kantai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Regalo is one step ahead there.

Regalo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kantai is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Regalo, into his guard.
Kantai tries to stand but Regalo is controlling from the bottom.

Regalo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Kantai frees his head nicely. Oh but Regalo has switched to an armbar! Kantai is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
