Sakuraba takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sakuraba doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Andolini counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Sakuraba shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sakuraba showed some decent athleticism there.
Andolini has hold of Sakuraba's hands but Sakuraba slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Sakuraba lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sakuraba lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Andolini quite badly. Andolini pulls Sakuraba in close trying to recover. Sakuraba postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Andolini on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Andolini doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
