PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Cheadle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shock Wave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cheadle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Intergalactic Rock. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wave has a takedown stuffed.
Wave throws a head kick but Cheadle moves out of range.

Wave shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cheadle's guard.

Wave is staying active underneath Cheadle, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cheadle is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wave is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
