Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iron Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yogg Saron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yogg Saron looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saron takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mike misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Mike is looking to clinch.

Mike moves into the clinch successfully.
Mike is trying to break the clinch but Saron has him pressed against the cage.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Mike and Saron goes tumbling to the canvas! Mike follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Saron is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Saron is squirming around, avoiding Mike's attempts to control the action.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Saron can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mike lands with some strikes.
Mike avoids the attempt from Saron to control.
Mike lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mike cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mike pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Saron tries to hold on but Mike pushes him away.
Saron tries to reverse the position but Mike maintains control.
Saron is squirming around, avoiding Mike's attempts to control the action.

Saron really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mike. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Mike with shots to the head and body - Saron looks very uncomfortable down there.
Mike pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saron is in a horrible position here. Mike smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Mike fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Saron tries to lock up and control but Mike gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mike working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mike is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Saron can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Iron Mike dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Yogg Saron's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mike tries to clinch up.
Mike misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mike takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Iron Mike has been cut.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Mike.
Saron is looking for a sweep.
Mike trying to control the action but Saron is working from the bottom.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Saron is looking to regain half guard here but Mike keeps moving and retains side control.

Mike has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mike connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Saron some visible discomfort.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
You can see the frustration on Mike's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Mike is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Saron pulls his head out easily.

Saron wants to control but Mike is keeping him busy.

Saron is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mike is just riding it out for now. Saron eventually gives up the hold.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Iron Mike is winning the standup battle so far.

Saron tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mike paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Saron throws a jab when Mike was well out of range.

Mike has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mike wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mike has Saron pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Saron manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Saron manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Mike scores with a jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Saron.
Saron tries a head kick but it misses.

Saron closes the distance and pushes Mike back into the cage.
Mike wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Saron has him pressed against the cage.

Saron is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mike can't fight it off and eventually Saron manages to take the fight to the floor. Mike looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Saron pushes down on Mike's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Mike wants to control but Saron is keeping busy.

Saron decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Saron keeps Mike at a distance using the push kick.
Mike looks to land a combination but Saron avoids it well.

Saron gets in close and instigates a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yogg Saron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Mike misses with a takedown attempt - Saron sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A lazy left from Mike finds it's target.
Saron throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mike.

Saron jumps guard but Mike stands there with Saron around his waist. Saron gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mike avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mike fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mike takes a kick to the side of the head.
Saron shoots in but no luck this time.
Iron Mike has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yogg Saron.

and Saron counters with a nice kick to the body.

Saron's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mike wants the takedown. Saron is fighting it off but Mike persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Saron's guard against the cage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Saron avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Saron throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mike's waist but Mike gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Saron off to one side.

Saron closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mike to the mat! Mike manages to get full guard.

Saron drops back looking for a leg! Mike is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mike manages to kick Saron off! Saron jumps back into Mike's guard.

Mike pushes Saron off and scrambles back to his feet.
Mike tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mike closes the distance but Saron moves to the side
and Saron counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Saron decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mike's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Yogg Saron.
I think Saron has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
