Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juan Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and VJ Mithani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maxwell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Basket Case. Mithani has chosen Forever - Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Mithani fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Maxwell sprawls well initially but Mithani persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mithani is trying to control. Maxwell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Maxwell is trying to control but Mithani manages to pass to mount!
Maxwell wants to control but Mithani is having none of it.
Maxwell is squirming around, avoiding Mithani's attempts to control the action.
Maxwell flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maxwell is trying desperately to improve position.

Despite being in the dominant position, VJ Mithani just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Maxwell controls Mithani momentarily but Mithani frees himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mithani passes the guard and advances to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

VJ Mithani showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Maxwell looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mithani!

Maxwell tries to break the clinch but Mithani is controlling the position.

Mithani closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mithani lands in his opponent's guard.
Maxwell wants to stand and escape but Mithani is having none of it.
VJ Mithani is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Mithani is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Maxwell is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Maxwell has escaped and now he's on top!

Mithani is looking for a triangle here but Maxwell uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
