Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Wick (ranked 5872 p4p, 5937 weight class) and Jake Guinness (ranked 520 p4p, 523 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Wick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Guinness!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

Guinness instigates a clinch.
Wick swings wildly with an uppercut but Guinness uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wick wants to stall.
Guinness is trying to force a seperation but Wick has the dominant position.
Wick landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Guinness is working for takedown but Wick is calmly controlling the position for now.
Wick unloads a knee to the mid-section. Guinness lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Guinness creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Guinness wants to take the fight to the mat but Wick manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

John Wick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Guinness.

Guinness jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wick walks away with a smile on his face. Guinness gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Guinness tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Guinness gets control of Wick's arms and successfully pulls guard. Guinness will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guinness is looking to stand up but Wick isn't so interested in that idea.

Guinness is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Guinness breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Guinness drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wick gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Guinness is trying to break free.
Guinness keeps control of Wick as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Guinness fails to pull guard.

Guinness breaks the clinch.
Guinness throws a sloppy head kick and Wick moves out of range easily.

Guinness gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Guinness tries to score a body lock takedown but Wick shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Guinness breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wick gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Guinness counters with a three punch combo that has Wick backing up. Wick nods at Guinness to acknowledge the strikes.
Wick throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Guinness drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wick defends it well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Guinness shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Guinness was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Guinness changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wick looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wick parries the strikes from Guinness easily there. Guinness is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Wick to escape.

Guinness decides to stand back up. Guinness steps back and let's Wick get back to his feet.

Wick can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
Guinness is trying to break the clinch but Wick is controlling him.

Wick has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Guinness tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Wick might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Wick wants to clinch.

Wick wants to clinch up but Guinness keeps it at a distance.

Guinness rushes Wick and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Guinness jumps guard but Wick stands there with Guinness around his waist. Guinness gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jake Guinness comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Guinness has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
