Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Parrotface!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Short!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parrotface stuffs the takedown.
Parrotface lands with a right hand.
Parrotface with a lazy takedown attempt

and Short counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Parrotface has his hands clasped together around Short's back. He's all about the action.
Parrotface really is a fat lump.

Short is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Short throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Parrotface wants to get back to full guard but Short has mounted him!
Parrotface is desperately trying to improve his position but Short has a good base and remains in mount.

Short is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Parrotface has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Parrotface!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Parrotface sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Short's guard.
Parrotface wants to get back to his feet.
Short tries to get to full guard but Parrotface has control of the leg.
Parrotface trying to mount his opponent but Short defends it.
Parrotface missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Parrotface wants to lay and pray for a moment but Short keeps working.
Parrotface works his way into side control.
Parrotface wants to control for a moment but Short uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Short thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Parrotface's head.
Parrotface has hold of Short's hands but Short slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Short seems to be working for a kimura but Parrotface defends the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Parrotface is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Short is tapping! Great win for Parrotface!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mr Parrotface!
