Lee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kung Fu Fighting. Shozo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Five Ninety. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee shoots for a takedown but Shozo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Shozo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like John Lee has been cut.
Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Shozo fails to land the takedown.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shozo, as that shot connected.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Shozo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lee!
