McCloud closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McCloud is looking to take a break and control but Nigma is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Nigma stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nigma wants it to stay on the feet.
McCloud is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nigma can do to turn this around?
McCloud changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nigma tries to avoid it but McCloud manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nigma to the ground. Nigma escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nigma clobbers McCloud with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nigma should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
McCloud pushes down on Nigma's leg and manages to get into half guard.
McCloud uses his free foot to push down on Nigma's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nigma.
