Some wild striking there from Takano.
Heidegger bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A big right from Heidegger misses.
Heidegger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Takano.
Takano fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Heidegger.
Heidegger misses the jab.
Takano throws a quick counter kick to the body but Heidegger avoids it.
Takano with a nice calf kick.
Heidegger takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Takano throws a right and a left that Heidegger avoids nicely.
Takano lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Takano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Heidegger.
Heidegger swings for the body but Takano moves out of range.
Heidegger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Heidegger is looking to land body kicks.

Heidegger dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Heidegger takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Takano moves out of range of the leg kick from Heidegger.
Takano looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Takano checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Heidegger throws out a loose jab but Takano uses good head movement to avoid it.
Takano blocks a leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Heidegger lands a jab to Takano's midsection.
Heidegger avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Takano connects with a crisp jab.
Takano blocks the body kick.
Heidegger sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Heidegger looks winded!
Takano moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Heidegger takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Yoshi Takano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Takano cracks Heidegger with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Heidegger is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Heidegger is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick misses from Takano.
Heidegger now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Takano is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Heidegger is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.
