Kellog is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hell Bells - AC/DC. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darren Kellog!

Lakatos forces Kellog back against the cage and clinches.
Lakatos is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kellog is defending well for now.

Kellog breaks the clinch.

Lakatos drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kellog sprawls and moves away.

Darren Kellog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kellog shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lakatos eats them both and turns towards Kellog to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Oliver Lakatos has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Kellog. Those never looked like landing.
Lakatos seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kellog misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kellog throws a right hand that Lakatos ducks under and follows up with a left that Lakatos also avoids with ease.

Lakatos fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Lakatos tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Lakatos goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Lakatos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lakatos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kellog for as long as he can get away with.

Lakatos decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Lakatos gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lakatos has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kellog clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Lakatos controlling the positon.

Lakatos connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Kellog to escape the position.
Lakatos lands with a hammerfist to the side of Kellog's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lakatos lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Kellog is trying to remain composed but Lakatos is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

Lakatos is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kellog has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Lakatos has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kellog taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Lakatos doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Oliver Lakatos!
In defeat, Darren Kellog stepped up to the mic, saying 'I don't care, a loss is a number, i will bounce back.'.
