Kemp throws the left hand but Martinyuk avoids the punch easily.
Kemp scores with a decent looking hook.

Kemp wants to land a leg kick but Martinyuk is out of range.
Martinyuk throws out a counter right but Kemp avoids it with no problem.

Kemp has managed to clinch.
Martinyuk tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kemp tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Martinyuk lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Martinyuk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kemp is looking to score with low kicks.
Kemp is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Martinyuk.
Kemp misses the body punch
and Martinyuk counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kemp. Martinyuk does a little dance to reset his feet.

Martinyuk looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Martinyuk has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Kemp throws a body shot but no joy.
Martinyuk swings for the body but Kemp moves out of range.
Martinyuk checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kemp lands an overhand right.

It looks like Leonid Martinyuk has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kemp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martinyuk swats him away and circles back towards the center.
As Kemp backs off Martinyuk throws a huge counter combo but Kemp manages to avoid it all.
The crowd cheers as Martinyuk lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kemp doesn't seem phased though.
Martinyuk misses with a hook.
Kemp lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kemp tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Martinyuk counters with a series of strikes. Kemp will be more careful next time no doubt.

Martinyuk lands a nice hook to Kemp's body. Kemp takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kemp misses with a low kick.
Nice straight punches there by Kemp. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kemp.

Martinyuk is rocked!

Martinyuk gets tackled into the cage by Kemp. Kemp maintains the clinch.

Martinyuk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kemp scores with a body shot.
Kemp cracks Martinyuk on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Martinyuk falls backwards against the cage. Kemp follows up with more strikes that drop Martinyuk to his knees. Kemp keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Martinyuk! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross Kemp!
Ross Kemp decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
