Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between African King (ranked 4209 p4p, 6768 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 505 p4p, 628 weight class). African King has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, African King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.

Snow throws a head kick that misses

and King counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Snow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but King can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Snow is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and King dives into side control.
Snow tries to buck King off but King is having none of it.

King decides to stand back up. King steps back and let's Snow get back to his feet.
King throws a sloppy head kick

and Snow counters with a single leg into guard. King didn't expect that.
King keeping moving, preventing Snow from controlling successfully.
Snow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.
King manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Snow manages to get himself to full guard.

King is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Snow can't keep his opponent in guard - King advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
King perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
King looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
King wants to stand but Snow has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
King content to control rather than advance.
King moves nicely into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
King just content to control the position.

King decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Snow avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
King chopping away at his opponent's legs.
King lands with a slapping head kick.

Snow drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. King manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
King tries a body shot but Snow blocks it.
King managing to block the knees to the body from Snow.
King wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
King tries to break free but Snow pushes him back against the cage.

King blocks an elbow strike.

King breaks from the clinch.
King throws a leg kick which misses Snow's front leg but catches the back leg as Snow tries to avoid it.
Snow takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Snow staying out of range there.
Snow misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Snow clinches with his opponent.

King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A low kick lands for King.
The fighters circling - King throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Snow clinches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snow keeps the fight in the clinch, despite King's efforts to push away.
King tries to throw a body punch but Snow avoids it by throwing King back against the cage.
King on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Snow has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Snow is trying to work for a single leg takedown but King pulls him back up using the underhooks.
King tries to stall but Snow uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Snow has King pressed against the cage, preventing King from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
King trying to control the position but instead, Snow has worked for underhooks and has pushed King into the cage.

Snow wants the takedown. King is fighting it off but Snow persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in King's guard against the cage.

King pushes Snow off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snow dives in for a single leg takedown but King sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
African King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Snow.
Snow shoots and misses
and King counters with a good low kick that Snow was not able to check.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

African King dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

A jab from King misses.
King stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
King is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Snow can do to turn this around?
Snow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Snow takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
King uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
King cracks Snow with an open hand slap.
King thows a left - swing and a miss!

A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Snow to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

King is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Snow gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Snow is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
King pushes Snow off looking to stand but Snow dives back in and keeps control.

Snow wants to control but King is keeping him busy.
King has his hands clasped together around Snow's back. He's all about the action.
King is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snow's back!

King struggling to keep hold of the position.
King controlling the position well here. Snow rolled but King kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
King has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Snow is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

King is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
King continues to stall.
King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Snow tries to break free.
King controls the position.
Snow can't escape the position.
King trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Snow doesn't escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
King avoiding Snow 's attempts to control his hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

African King dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

King misses with a hook.
Snow takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Snow on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

King tries to keep at a distance but Snow has taken the fight into the clinch.
King tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Snow lands a takedown into guard.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting King here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Snow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King wants to get back to his feet but Snow is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snow looking to sit in guard and control but King gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

African King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
King wants to get up but he can't break Snow's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

King stands and throws Snow's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Snow tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but King wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Snow wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

King decides to take the fight back to the feet.
King throws a looping overhand right but Snow ducks down to avoid it.
Snow has a takedown stuffed.
A head kick from King lands but Snow takes it in his stride.
Snow throws a head kick but King moves out of range.
King swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Snow lands a jab to King's midsection.
King connects with the punch.

Snow moves into range and clinches up with King.
King has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
King tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
King can't break the clinch.
Snow has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Snow has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but King has passed into side control.
Snow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

King decides to stand back up.

No luck for Snow with that takedown attempt.
African King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Snow.
Snow fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
King scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Snow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but King paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Snow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it.
African King is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
King lands with a kick to the temple. Snow shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Snow drops his hands momentarily and King takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Snow moves to clinch but King breaks away
and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
King thows a left - swing and a miss!
Snow throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A decent looking cross lands there for King.

Snow misses with a head kick.
King lands with an overhand left.
Snow is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A cross from King lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
King lands with a slapping head kick.

Snow is rocked!
King keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Snow is still on wobbly legs! Can King finish him?
Jon Snow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
King pounces like a tiger and cracks Snow with a vicious hook! Snow is down but not out! King follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
