Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Lobos (ranked 6552 p4p, 6476 weight class) and Julio Moreno (ranked 607 p4p, 602 weight class). Lobos comes to the cage accompanied by D-Generation X. Jack Lobos could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Julio Moreno's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Lobos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Julio Moreno!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.

Lobos cracks Moreno with a good jab.
Lobos misses with a two punch combination.
Moreno comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Moreno thumps Lobos with a low kick.

Lobos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Moreno's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lobos is working Moreno over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Moreno can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lobos controls the pace.

Moreno really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lobos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moreno controls Lobos momentarily but Lobos frees himself.

Moreno looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Lobos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Moreno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Julio Moreno is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Moreno cracks Lobos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Moreno moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Moreno throws a leg kick which misses Lobos's front leg but catches the back leg as Lobos tries to avoid it.

Moreno is trying to break the clinch but Lobos has him pressed against the cage.
Moreno gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lobos.
Moreno has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Lobos looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Moreno digs a right hand into Lobos's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lobos's gas tank.
Lobos lands a hook to the side of the head.

Moreno is trying to break the clinch but Lobos has him pressed against the cage.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Moreno is leaning against Lobos and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Moreno tries to work over Lobos's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Lobos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moreno with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well, if Lobos is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Lobos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moreno with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A lull in the action here as Lobos stalls from top position.
Lobos cracks Moreno with a big right hand but Moreno just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lobos lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Moreno down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moreno throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Jack Lobos has been cut.

Moreno is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lobos is aware though and is defending well.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lobos lands a nice short elbow.

Lobos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Moreno gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lobos postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Moreno looks a forlorn figure.
Lobos is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Moreno can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lobos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Moreno is bucking up trying to escape but Lobos cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
