Zaitoun loads up on a big right hand but Lock slips the punch.
Ahmed Zaitoun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zaitoun scores with a hook to the body. Lock takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lock shoots in but Zaitoun avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zaitoun connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lock. Lock circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Lock drops back looking for a leg! Zaitoun is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zaitoun manages to kick Lock off! Lock jumps back into Zaitoun's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lock has hold of Zaitoun's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Zaitoun manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Zaitoun wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Lock.

Lock misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

My spies in Island Training Centre inform me that Lock has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Lock working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Zaitoun turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lock off and cradles Zaitoun's limp body as Lock celebrates with his corner.
