Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juha Virtanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout comes to the ring accompanied by How we do. The crowd seem to be enjoying Virtanen's choice of entrance music: Muistipalapelit by Stam1na. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Virtanen!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout misses with a double jab.
Nice defenses there by Virtanen.
Virtanen takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Virtanen is rocked!
It looks like Juha Virtanen has been cut.
Stout tries to close the distance and clinch but Virtanen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Virtanen shoots in for a takedown but Stout shows good takedown defense.
Virtanen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Virtanen has a takedown stuffed.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Stout.
Stout tries to advance to mount but can't.
Stout tries to stand but Virtanen is controlling his head.

Stout bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Stout doesn't manage to clinch there - Virtanen circles away.
Stout moves in looking to clinch but Virtanen pushes him off.

Stout really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Virtanen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stout's guard.
Stout manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Virtanen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stout swivels and escapes.

and Virtanen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Virtanen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stout is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Virtanen, into his guard.
Virtanen is breathing heavily.
Virtanen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stout can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Stout wants to control from the top but Virtanen keeps moving.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Virtanen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Stout thuds his right hand into Virtanen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

so Virtanen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stout holds on and takes a little breather.
Virtanen seems to have recovered his senses.

Stout wants to get back to his feet but Virtanen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Stout manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Virtanen manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
