Semenov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sando on the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sando walks straight into a right hand from Semenov - that's dropped him! Semenov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sando from any more punishment! Sando complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A relieved looking Kirill Semenov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
