Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Uesugi Mochinori (ranked 839 p4p, 1005 weight class) and Alen Ohanian (ranked 131 p4p, 155 weight class). Mochinori comes into the arena with Japanese Battle Music blaring out of the sound system. Ohanian has chosen The Eternals - Wrath of Zeus as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Mochinori takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mochinori uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ohanian.

Mochinori quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mochinori stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mochinori wants it to stay on the feet.

Ohanian throws a lazy right hand but Mochinori sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mochinori feinted there with a counter leg kick.

Ohanian drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mochinori wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ohanian manages to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ohanian is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mochinori is just riding it out for now. Ohanian eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mochinori is trying is best to control the position here.

Ohanian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mochinori.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ohanian! But no joy.

Mochinori swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Ohanian throws a body punch but Mochinori moves out of range.
Mochinori steps in with a hook that catches Ohanian right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Mochinori follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Ohanian looks absolutely devastated.
