Shashi dives in and grabs Novoselic's left leg, looking for a takedown. Novoselic pushes down on Shashi's head and hops out.

Shashi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Novoselic pinned against the cage. Novoselic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Novoselic tries a low kick but Shashi avoids it.

Shashi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Novoselic sprawls well initially but Shashi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shashi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Shashi throws a sloppy head kick and Novoselic moves out of range easily.
Novoselic dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shashi. That did some damage!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shashi shoots in looking for a takedown but Novoselic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shashi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A nice leg kick from Novoselic, right into the meat of the thigh.
Novoselic avoids the body shot from Shashi.
Novoselic was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Novoselic throws an overhand right that lands on Shashi's shoulder, as Shashi tries to avoid the shot.
Shashi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Novoselic is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shashi can do to turn this around?
