Bizihwaile throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
OMalley has his takedown stuffed
and Bizihwaile counters with a right hand to the body.
Bizihwaile tests OMalley's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bizihwaile scores with a jab. OMalley acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bizihwaile stuffs the takedown attempt from OMalley. OMalley gets slowly back to his feet.
OMalley takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
OMalley looks for a takedown but Bizihwaile sprawls well.

OMalley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

OMalley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bizihwaile avoids it really well and circles away.
A counter left hand to the body from Bizihwaile misses its target.
Bizihwaile throws a head kick that misses.
OMalley seems to have recovered his senses.
Bizihwaile attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
OMalley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bizihwaile napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bizihwaile is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on OMalley's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Bizihwaile is positioning himself well to prevent OMalley advancing to mount.
OMalley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bizihwaile does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
OMalley prevents Bizihwaile from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bizihwaile won't allow OMalley to pass to mount.

OMalley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
OMalley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bizihwaile keeps working.
OMalley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

OMalley is keen to just control but Bizihwaile is a slippery customer.

OMalley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bizihwaile knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
OMalley is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bizihwaile sees it coming and defends easily.
OMalley wants to free his trapped foot but Bizihwaile is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OMalley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bizihwaile doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time OMalley.
Bizihwaile preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OMalley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bizihwaile defends it well.
OMalley stalling away here and it's allowed Bizihwaile to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
OMalley stays in close to Bizihwaile's body and controls the position.
OMalley drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bizihwaile looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bizihwaile looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bizihwaile!
OMalley felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
OMalley tries to buck Bizihwaile off but Bizihwaile is having none of it.
OMalley wants to get back to his feet.
Bizihwaile controls the position.

Bizihwaile is looking to land body kicks.
Horrible takedown attempt by OMalley or perhaps it was just good defense by Bizihwaile, which made it look bad.
Bizihwaile appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Conor OMalley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OMalley takes a head kick and keeps coming.
OMalley takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
OMalley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bizihwaile, as that shot connected.

and Bizihwaile counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
OMalley gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

In his post fight interview, Penkosip Bizihwaile started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
