Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jako Day!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.

Johnson misses with a double jab.

Day throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Johnson on the side of the head.

A looping hook to the body misses from Day. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Day uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Johnson.

Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Johnson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Day takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Day walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Day looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Johnson punishes Day's body with a nice straight punch.
A low kick lands for Johnson.
Johnson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Johnson lands with a slapping head kick.
Day ducks under a wild hook from Johnson.
Johnson thuds his right hand into Day's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Day cracks Johnson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Johnson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Day fails to land with a series of punches.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Johnson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Johnson fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Day to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Day looks to clinch but Johnson throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Day taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Our winner, Jeff Johnson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
