Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grind Game (ranked 6461 p4p, 6631 weight class) and Marcus Patel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patel has chosen Millidelphia - Meek Mill as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Patel!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.

Game connects with a nice looking jab.
Game loads up on a big right hand but Patel slips the punch.
Game throws a big shot that misses.
Patel throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Game connects with a looping right hand.
Patel throws a jab when Game was well out of range.
A counter left hand to the body from Game misses its target.
Game punishes Patel's body with a nice straight punch.
Patel jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The crowd cheers as Game lands an impressive looking overhand right. Patel doesn't seem phased though.

Patel doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Game misses with a hook. Patel ducked under it nicely.
It seemed like Patel was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A slow jab from Patel misses its intended target.
Game moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Patel throws out a loose jab but Game uses good head movement to avoid it.

Game throws a body shot but no joy.
Patel uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Game has time to react.

Patel thows a left - swing and a miss!
Patel throws a shot from downtown. Game moves away and avoids it.
Grind Game seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Game avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Good shot there by Game.
Game tries to bum rush Patel with a series of wild strikes but Patel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Patel has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Game finds it's way round the side to connect with Patel's head.
Game is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Game swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Patel connects with a body shot that sends Game's belly button to the back.
Game throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Patel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Game stuns Patel with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Game displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Patel throws out the jab.
Game is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

and Game counters with a nice uppercut.
Patel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Patel looks to land a left hand but Game moved out of range nicely.
Game takes a swing at Patel's ribcage but misses.
Game is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Game swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Game throws the left hand but Patel avoids the punch easily.
Patel looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Game takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Game is breathing heavily.
Patel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Game manages to avoid it.
An attempted straight right counter from Game misses the target.
Game bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Game misses with a wild combination.
Patel feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Games jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Patel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Patel lands a lovely overhand right.

and Patel counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
