Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Protacio Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Abelyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Arthur Abelyan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Abelyan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jawo circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd cheers as Abelyan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jawo doesn't seem phased though.

Abelyan cracks Jawo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Jawo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jawo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Jawo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Abelyan sees it coming and defends easily.
Abelyan wants to get back to his feet.
Abelyan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jawo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jawo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Abelyan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Jawo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Abelyan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Jawo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Abelyan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jawo, pushing him back against the cage.

Abelyan throws the kick towards the body but Jawo avoids it.

Jawo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Abelyan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Abelyan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Abelyan clobbers Jawo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Jawo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jawo feints and as Abelyan raises his hands in defense, Jawo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jawo won't allow Abelyan to get back to his feet.
Jawo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Abelyan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Abelyan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jawo wants to control from the top but Abelyan keeps moving.

Abelyan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Jawo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Jawo has Abelyan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Abelyan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jawo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jawo has his feet on Abelyan's thighs here. He's pushed Abelyan off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Abelyan screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
