Tanaka connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackson. Jackson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Shawn Jackson has been cut.

Jackson shoots in and drives through. Tanaka sprawls well.

Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown. Tanaka tries to sprawl out of it but Jackson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tanaka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jackson walks straight into a right hand from Tanaka - that's dropped him! Tanaka jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jackson from any more punishment! Jackson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
