Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

De Silva scores with a jab to the jaw.
De Silva tests Diaz's chin there with a solid looking shot.
De Silva smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Diaz gets tackled into the cage by De Silva. De Silva maintains the clinch.
Diaz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Diaz misses with a hook to the ribs.

Diaz has De Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. De Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
De Silva lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Diaz told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Diaz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. De Silva fights it off and pushes away nicely.

De Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts De Silva as he jumps to the side.
De Silva was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
De Silva clobbers Diaz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

De Silva steps in with a hook that catches Diaz right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! De Silva follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Diaz looks absolutely devastated.
