This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Bolo Yueng ! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Desi Kraag!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Yueng fails with a takedown attempt.
Kraag feints the counter takedown.

Kraag rushes Yueng and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kraag wants a takedown.
Kraag tries to score a body lock takedown but Yueng shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Kraag drags the fight down to the ground.
Kraag seems keen to control Yueng 's posture.
Yueng looking to pass the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yueng trying to control the position from guard on top but Kraag is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yueng has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

We've been hearing good reports from Yueng 's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Kraag has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Yueng is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kraag.

Kraag just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Kraag is working for a rear naked choke. Yueng is not defending it well and Kraag has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Yueng refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Yueng 's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Desi Kraag!
