Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jett Denovan (ranked 2084 p4p, 2006 weight class) and Shaq Champlain (ranked 231 p4p, 95 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jett Denovan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jett Denovan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

A punch combination from Denovan misses.
Champlain walks into a straight right hand from Denovan.
Denovan works over Champlain's head and body with a nice combination.
Denovan cracks Champlain with an open hand slap.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Champlain has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Denovan lands a head kick. Champlain smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Shaq Champlain has been cut.
Champlain shoots in but no luck this time.
Denovan is looking to counter punch.
Champlain shoots in looking for a takedown. Denovan tries to sprawl out of it but Champlain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Denovan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Denovan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Denovan lands with an uppercut that bounces Champlain off the cage and back into range.
Denovan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

With the fighters up against the cage, Champlain throws an elbow but misses.
Denovan stops a takedown attempt from Champlain.

Champlain is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Denovan to keep the fight standing.

Denovan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Shaq Champlain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A counter left hand to the body from Denovan misses its target.
Denovan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Denovan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Champlain fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Denovan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Both fighters circling a little - Denovan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
A nice leg kick from Denovan, right into the meat of the thigh.

Denovan moves into the clinch.

Denovan drops Champlain with a big knee straight up the middle! Champlain is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Denovan plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Champlain to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Champlain just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
