Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frog Ribbit (ranked 464 p4p, 524 weight class) and Kazuma Kuwabara (ranked 63 p4p, 73 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kuwabara's choice of entrance music: Kazuma Kuwabara Theme. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.

Ribbit throws a jab when Kuwabara was well out of range.
Kuwabara is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ribbit with a body shot.
We've been told by Ribbit's head coaches at Temple of Illumination that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Kuwabara closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ribbit's guard.
Ribbit wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kuwabara drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ribbit dives on top into guard.

Kuwabara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ribbit gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kuwabara bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ribbit's guard.

Kuwabara drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ribbit dives on top into guard.

Oh but Kuwabara is tightening it up a little... Ribbit has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ribbit reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ribbit taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kuwabara!
