Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Souka Sudoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Sudoka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Horrible takedown by Sudoka or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramirez which made him look bad.
Ramirez throws an overhand right that lands on Sudoka's shoulder, as Sudoka tries to avoid the shot.
Ramirez throws a series of punches but Sudoka moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ramirez is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Ramirez wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Sudoka.

Sudoka throws a leg kick but Ramirez sees it coming and moves out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sudoka throws a looping overhand right but Ramirez ducks down to avoid it.
Ramirez blocks a jab.
Sudoka misses the shot to the body.
Ramirez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sudoka. Sudoka obviously looking to wear him down.
Sudoka attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Ramirez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sudoka shoots in looking for a takedown. Ramirez tries to sprawl out of it but Sudoka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ramirez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ramirez throws an overhand right that lands on Sudoka's shoulder, as Sudoka tries to avoid the shot.

Sudoka throws a body punch but Ramirez moves out of range.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sudoka throws a jab when Ramirez was well out of range.
Sudoka throws a front kick aimed at Ramirez's knee but Ramirez avoids it well.

That was a close round but I would say that Souka Sudoka will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ramirez looks to land a combination but Sudoka avoids it well.

Sudoka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Sudoka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ramirez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ramirez wants to stand but Sudoka is controlling the position.

Sudoka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ramirez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sudoka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sudoka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sudoka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ramirez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Ramirez gets caught flat footed, as Sudoka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ramirez wants to get back to his feet but Sudoka is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Sudoka trying to control the position from guard on top but Ramirez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ramirez wants to stand up but Sudoka is controlling him.
Ramirez is breathing heavily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sudoka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sudoka prevents Ramirez from getting back to his feet.
Sudoka pushes down on Ramirez's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ramirez is trying to stand up here but Sudoka is controlling him well.
Ramirez is staying active underneath Sudoka, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Sudoka seems to be working for a kimura but Ramirez defends the submission attempt.

Ramirez pushes Sudoka off looking to stand but Sudoka dives back in and keeps control.
Sudoka frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ramirez really wants to buck Sudoka off and get back to his feet.
BOOM! Sudoka connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sudoka wants to control the pace but Ramirez is squirming around nicely.
Ramirez's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Ramirez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sudoka.

Sudoka closes the distance and clinches up with Ramirez, looking for a takedown. Sudoka pushes Ramirez against the cage but Ramirez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sudoka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ramirez is fending him off so far but Sudoka persists. Nope, Ramirez circles away and we're back to standing.
