Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aidan Irons (ranked 3777 p4p, 4968 weight class) and Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Rogan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Irons jumps guard but Rogan stands there with Irons around his waist. Irons gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rogan is persistently looking for the submission but Irons is defending it well.
Rogan throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Irons tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rogan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Rogan goes for a double leg but Irons avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Irons continues to drive forward.

Irons feints a jab promting Rogan to slip. Irons then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rogan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Rogan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Irons shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rogan napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Irons tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rogan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Irons somewhat.

and Irons counters with a straight right hand.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aidan Irons will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rogan moves into range and clinches up with Irons.
Irons jumps guard but Rogan turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Irons is fighting to break Rogan's control of his arms but Rogan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Irons throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Irons wants to get back to full guard.
Rogan thows a huge punch but Irons dodges it nicely.
Still in half guard, Rogan seems content to control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
