Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Logan (ranked 2250 p4p, 1528 weight class) and Vinicius Verreira (ranked 270 p4p, 186 weight class). Logan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Inside. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Logan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Logan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Verreira has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Verreira has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Verreira and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

In his post fight interview, Frankie Logan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
