And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timothy Hammond!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forsberg looks to land a combination but Hammond avoids it well.
Forsberg wants to clinch.
Timothy Hammond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hammond takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hammond fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Timothy Hammond will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Hammond shoots in but Forsberg avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hammond doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Hammond drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hammond accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Forsberg wants to stand up but Hammond is controlling him.

Hammond throws and elbow that misses. Forsberg uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hammond's guard. Nice move by Forsberg!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hammond takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Hammond has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Forsberg is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hammond.

Forsberg stands up.

Forsberg wants to clinch up but Hammond keeps it at a distance.

and Hammond counters with a nice double leg into side control. Forsberg won't be happy with that.

Hammond throws an elbow but Forsberg slips to the side and avoids it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hammond lands some shots froms side control.

Hammond is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Forsberg has escaped the position, nice work there.

Hammond is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Forsberg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Oskar Forsberg.
I think Forsberg has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
