Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Emin Boztepe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Tarkkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tarkkonen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Konvehdinmussutajat - Älä lyö naamaan. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Boztepe.
Tarkkonen tries to land a leg kick but Boztepe saw it coming and moves away.
Boztepe misses with a series of wild punches.

Tarkkonen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tarkkonen has Boztepe pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Boztepe manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Tarkkonen pulls guard effortlessly.
Boztepe won't allow Tarkkonen to sweep him here.
Tarkkonen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tarkkonen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boztepe manages to get himself to full guard.
Boztepe wants to stand and escape but Tarkkonen is having none of it.

Boztepe has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tarkkonen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Boztepe wants to control the position but Tarkkonen frees himself and scrambles - Boztepe manages to regain control in side control.
Boztepe lands some shots froms side control.
Boztepe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tarkkonen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Boztepe decides to stand back up. Boztepe steps back and let's Tarkkonen get back to his feet.

Tarkkonen shoots for a double leg takedown but Boztepe sprawls well. He's pushed Tarkkonen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Emin Boztepe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timo Tarkkonen.

Boztepe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tarkkonen.

Tarkkonen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Tarkkonen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boztepe is just riding it out for now. Tarkkonen eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Boztepe throws a right hand that Tarkkonen ducks under and follows up with a left that Tarkkonen also avoids with ease.
Tarkkonen misses with a low kick as Boztepe jumps back.
Boztepe throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Boztepe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tarkkonen circles away quickly and effectively.

Tarkkonen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boztepe is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Tarkkonen is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Tarkkonen extends the arm and Boztepe is forced to tap!
