Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan King (ranked 4245 p4p, 4780 weight class) and Bubba Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stefan King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bubba Gump!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.

King throws a leg kick
and Gump makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gump fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it.
King thumps Gump with a low kick.
King misses with a left hand
and Gump counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gump controls from within his opponent's guard.
King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gump on the ground.
Gump is working King over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gump controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Gump working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of King's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gump stands and steps away. King gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Gump on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Gump manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Gump is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gump is taking a breather. King says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Gump decides to return to a standing position.

King throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A low kick from King is predictable there
and Gump counters with a shoot takedown. King fights it but they end up in guard.
King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gump forces his way into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gump performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
King is trying to escape back to his feet but Gump uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Gump has an Americana. King didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gump is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gump hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
