Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Grey Ape (ranked 4250 p4p, 2475 weight class) and Jared Roughneck (ranked 487 p4p, 318 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

Ape throws a half hearted mid kick.
Roughneck looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A punch combination from Roughneck misses.
Ape throws a head kick that half lands.
Ape lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Roughneck scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ape doesn't seem bothered though.
Roughneck throws a hook to the side of Ape's head but Ape sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Roughneck drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Ape uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Roughneck.
Ape jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Ape fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Roughneck.

Ape needs to keep his hands up - Roughneck had a free shot at his head there.
Ape fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Roughneck has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ape throws a shot from downtown. Roughneck moves away and avoids it.
A little jabbing left from Roughneck on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Grey Ape is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ape throws a chopping leg kick but Roughneck manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ape throws a lazy head kick
and Roughneck counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Roughneck looks to land a left hand but Ape moved out of range nicely.
Roughneck throws a right and a left that Ape avoids nicely.
Roughneck shoots in for a double leg but Ape sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Grey Ape has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jared Roughneck.
Ape lands with a good body shot.
Ape is looking to clinch but Roughneck is avoiding it.

Roughneck throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Ape lands a big head kick that sends Roughneck tumbling to the mat! Ape takes a step backwards and waves Roughneck back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ape fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ape drops Roughneck with a naaaaasty hook - Roughneck is in real trouble here! Ape dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
