The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brown.

Brown is trying to maintain the position but Santos is very close to passing his half guard.

Santos is trying to work for a kimura but Brown is defending well.

Santos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Brown wants to clinch.
Santos throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.
A slow jab from Santos misses its intended target.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Santos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Brown is looking to reverse the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rich Brown will probably get the nod.

Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Brown looking to hit a scissor sweep but Santos is one step ahead there.
Santos wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position.

Santos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Santos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Brown controls Santos momentarily but Santos frees himself.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Brown gets caught flat footed, as Santos shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Brown wants to sweep but no luck.
Brown wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Santos manages to pass to side control.

Santos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Santos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brown defends it well.

Eduardo Santos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Santos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
