Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

Kukko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kukko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ronin.
Ronin moves in looking to clinch but Kukko pushes him off.

Kukko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A quick step to the side and Kukko tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ronin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kukko.

Ronin wants to clinch.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ronin! But no joy.

Ronin's coach down at Island Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ronin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ronin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Kukko is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ronin moves forwards but Kukko connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Kukko darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Kukko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That has opened up Edo Ronin's cut even more.

Ronin now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kukko scores with a sloppy right hand. Ronin should have avoided that one.

Kukko cracks Ronin with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kukko has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ronin to stand back up!

and Kukko scores with a counter punch that sends Ronin to the canvas! Kukko smells blood - he's punishing Ronin with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Ronin has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
