PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sorkka Rauta (ranked 4423 p4p, 4823 weight class) and Cormack Koskinen (ranked 0 p4p, 516 weight class). Cormack Koskinen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Koskinen clinches.
Koskinen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rauta gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Koskinen is stalling here.
Rauta lands a shoulder strike.
Rauta lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Koskinen misses with a hook from the clinch.
Koskinen is looking to control Rauta's arms but Rauta gets an underhook and turns him. Now Koskinen has his back to the cage.
Rauta lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Koskinen backwards.

Rauta presses Koskinen against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Koskinen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Koskinen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rauta smiles and moves away.
Koskinen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Rauta throws out a loose jab but Koskinen uses good head movement to avoid it.

Koskinen seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Rauta is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
