Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Andrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Ruaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruaz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My Unborn - Tupac kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrade lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Marcos Ruaz has been cut.
Ruaz looks for a takedown but Andrade sprawls well.
Andrade jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ruaz misses with a hook.
Andrade darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Andrade throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Andrade swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ruaz avoids the head kick by Andrade.
Andrade misses with a body kick.
Ruaz lands a nice hook to Andrade's body. Andrade takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Andrade throws a series of punches but Ruaz avoids them all with ease.
Andrade swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ruaz moves in looking to clinch but Andrade pushes him off.
Andrade avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Andrade lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ruaz circles away quickly and effectively.
Ruaz dodges the punch combination from Andrade.

Ruaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Andrade swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ruaz misses with a head kick.
Ruaz shoots in but no luck this time.
Andrade jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Ruaz has a takedown stuffed.
Junior Andrade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Ruaz.
Andrade tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Andrade throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Junior Andrade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ruaz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Andrade's guard.
Andrade is breathing heavily.
Ruaz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Andrade is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ruaz has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ruaz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Andrade knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Andrade is looking for a sweep.

Ruaz has hold of Andrade's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Andrade seems comfortable defending it but Ruaz has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Andrade is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Andrade is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ruaz couldn't care less - he's delighted!
