Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Pinochet (ranked 1337 p4p, 3764 weight class) and Sammy King (ranked 160 p4p, 377 weight class). Pinochet comes to the cage accompanied by I'M AN ASS MAN YEEEAH !. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Sammy King!

Pinochet closes the distance and pushes King back into the cage.
Pinochet tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. King just stands there and leans against the cage.

Pinochet had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. King defends it easily.
Pinochet lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Pinochet tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard.

Pinochet is fighting to break King's control of his arms but King is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

King is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Pinochet tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. King just stands there and leans against the cage.

Pinochet jumps guard but King turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

King manages to break the clinch.
Pinochet throws a jab but it's blocked by King.
King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pinochet moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
King misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pinochet.
Pinochet tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but King swivels and escapes.
Pinochet looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pinochet closes this distance looking for a takedown but King circles away.
King tries to bum rush Pinochet with a series of wild strikes but Pinochet uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pinochet moves into the clinch successfully.

King breaks from the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from King. Those never looked like landing.
King lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
King fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
King scores with a jab.
King throws a right and a left that Pinochet avoids nicely.

Oooooh!!! King has knocked Pinochet down with a huge combo! King steps away and waves a wobbly Pinochet back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Pinochet is rocked!

Augusto Pinochet's cut is getting worse.
King throws a right hand that Pinochet ducks under and follows up with a left that Pinochet also avoids with ease.

Pinochet clinches up with King and pushes him back against the cage.
King gets through Pinochet's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Augusto Pinochet's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

King's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pinochet throws a head kick that misses.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! King has cracked Pinochet with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! King lands another huge swinging hook and Pinochet tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Pinochet, before King can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sammy King!
Sammy King decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
