PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pat Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Marr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marr's choice of entrance music: Falls. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sumrall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sumrall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sumrall drops Marr with a nice combination! Sumrall dives into Marr's guard, looking to finish!


It looks like Joe Marr has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sumrall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sumrall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Marr is trying desperately to land a takedown but Sumrall is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Marr.
