Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

Popeye darts in and clinches Slamcock up against the cage.

Popeye manages to break the clinch.
Slamcock loads up on a big right hand but Popeye slips the punch.
Slamcock fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Popeye avoids it really well and circles away.
Slamcock looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A combination from Slamcock does no damage.
A little jabbing left from Popeye on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Popeye fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Popeye looks to score with a jab to the body but Slamcock is just out of range.
Slamcock slips a straight right by Popeye.
Slamcock appears to be looking for a big counter.
Popeye has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Slamcock shoots for a double leg takedown but Popeye sprawls well. He's pushed Slamcock's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Popeye has Slamcock pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Popeye pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Slamcock tumbling to the mat - Popeye dives into Slamcock's guard.

Slamcock can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Popeye controls the pace.

Slamcock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Popeye lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but John Popeye will probably get the nod.

Slamcock lands a big head kick that sends Popeye tumbling to the mat! Slamcock takes a step backwards and waves Popeye back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Slamcock shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Slamcock slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Slamcock lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
