Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quiron Yusuke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds keeps the fight on the outside.
Reynolds avoids the head kick by Yusuke.

The crowd cheers as Reynolds lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yusuke doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Quiron Yusuke has been cut.

Reynolds fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yusuke sprawls well initially but Reynolds persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yusuke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Yusuke avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Quiron Yusuke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
