Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Calabi Yau (ranked 5969 p4p, 5874 weight class) and Ronie Cash (ranked 603 p4p, 599 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The crowd cheers as Yau lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cash doesn't seem phased though.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Cash working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

We've been hearing good reports from Yau's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Cash is looking to pass to full mount but he's left his head exposed in the process. Yau has locked up a guillotine and regained full guard. He's really cranking on it - this could be the end! Is it? Is it? No... YES! YES! He's tapped! I didn't think he was going to get it there for a minute but he did! Well done Yau! He waited for his chance and took it!

After the fight, Calabi Yau was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
