PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between sub zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fatih Emir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emir has chosen i kill people as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Emir takes the fight into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Emir works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
zero looking to hit a scissor sweep but Emir is one step ahead there.
Emir is stalling in the full guard.
Emir trying to control but zero is working from the bottom.
Emir thows a big elbow that misses.
zero wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Emir is now in half guard.
Emir uses his free foot to push down on zero's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for zero.

That's one minute gone in the round.
zero is squirming around, avoiding Emir's attempts to control the action.
Emir won't let zero get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
zero is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
zero is in a horrible position here. Emir smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
zero wants to hold on but Emir pushes him away.
zero tries to buck Emir off but he can't manage it.
Emir lands a heavy elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
zero takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
zero is wriggling around trying to escape.
Emir landing strikes from the mount.

zero wants to hold on but Emir pushes him away.
Emir trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Emir wants to finish this one by submission but zero is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Emir.

Emir working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. zero turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Emir off and cradles zero's limp body as Emir celebrates with his corner.
