Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mateusz Pisarek (ranked 5572 p4p, 5846 weight class) and Ubereem Rua (ranked 193 p4p, 199 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.

Pisarek shoots in and drives through. Rua sprawls well.
Pisarek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rua 's waist but Rua gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pisarek off to one side.

Rua decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pisarek is looking to escape.
Pisarek wants to control but Rua is keeping busy.
Rua works his way into full mount!
Rua postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pisarek looks a forlorn figure.
Pisarek's coaches at Brazilian Top Team + Ricardo Arona have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rua with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pisarek is looking to improve his position but Rua isn't that keen on the idea.

Rua stands up from mount. Strange move.

Rua closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pisarek quickly recovers to half guard.
Pisarek scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Rua manages to mount him!
Rua tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rua lands with some strikes.
Pisarek blocking the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pisarek is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rua is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Pisarek is trying to escape the mount but Rua keeps good control and instead manages to take Pisarek's back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rua sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Pisarek taps out!
