Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alojz Sanel (ranked 1875 p4p, 2630 weight class) and Howard Stern (ranked 254 p4p, 338 weight class). Stern is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Great American Nightmare. Howard Stern told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.

Stern clinches up with Sanel and pushes him back against the cage.
Sanel scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Stern breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stern.
Stern has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sanel is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Stern throws a right hand that misses
and Sanel counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Howard Stern has been cut.
Stern uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sanel has time to react.
Stern walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sanel lands with an uppercut that bounces Stern off the cage and back into range.
Stern scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sanel. Stern does a little dance to reset his feet.
Howard Stern seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stern misses with a looping right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sanel connects with a crisp jab.
Sanel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stern.
A jab from Sanel does it's job there.
Stern throws a right hand that misses
and Sanel rattles Stern with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Stern tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Sanel dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Stern stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Alojz Sanel!
