Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gilberto Chamba (ranked 5893 p4p, 7134 weight class) and Marcelinho Lima (ranked 481 p4p, 522 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Chamba on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Gilberto Chamba has been cut.
Chamba slaps away a takedown attempt from Lima, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lima tries for a takedown but Chamba circles away easily

and Chamba counters by clinching up.
Lima takes an elbow to the temple.
Lima is trying to stall.
Chamba lands with a right to the head.
Lima jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chamba walks away with a smile on his face. Lima gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gilberto Chamba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcelinho Lima.
Chamba lands a nice hook to Lima's body. Lima takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gilberto Chamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lima throws a right and a left that Chamba avoids nicely.
Lima shoots in for a double leg but Chamba sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lima takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Lima throws a sloppy head kick and Chamba moves out of range easily.
Lima has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Chamba is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Chamba lands a big head kick that sends Lima tumbling to the mat! Chamba takes a step backwards and waves Lima back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Marcelinho Lima has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chamba cracks Lima with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lima looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Chamba finish him?

Lima is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lima switches off momentarily and Chamba cracks him with a monster right hand! Lima topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Chamba dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Chamba!
