Monger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Monger fails with a takedown attempt.
As Monger looks to move away, Burduada No Cranio throws a big counter combo but Monger just gets out of the way.
Monger connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Burduada No Cranio's hands.
Burduada No Cranio tries a head kick but it misses.

Burduada No Cranio clinches.
Monger on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Monger digs a right hand into Burduada No Cranio's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Burduada No Cranio's gas tank.

Burduada No Cranio fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Monger has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Monger clinches up against the cage.
Monger misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Burduada No Cranio.
Burduada No Cranio tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Monger just stands there and leans against the cage.
Monger unloads a knee to the mid-section. Burduada No Cranio lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Monger turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
You can see the frustration on Burduada No Cranio's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Burduada No Cranio is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Monger has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Burduada No Cranio's coaches at Roosters Coop have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Monger is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Burduada No Cranio has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Burduada No Cranio tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Monger has control of Burduada No Cranio's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Burduada No Cranio regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Monger is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Monger!
