Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

Mayde shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hunt gets back to full guard.
Hunt working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mayde.
Mayde connects with a couple of short punches.
Mayde trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mayde thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mayde accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hunt has his foot on Mayde's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mayde works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hunt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mayde defends it easily.

Hunt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mayde can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mayde passes Hunt's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Mayde is working for a kimura but Hunt is defending it quite comfortably.

Mayde perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Mayde working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mayde is taking a breather. Hunt says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mayde is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Hunt is hurt! He's hurt bad - Mayde fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Hunt from any more punishment! Congratulations to Mayde! Great finish!
